What? Trinity Wellsprings Church is hosting a Family Campout. An overnight tent camping trip for parents and their kids.

Where? Moss Park, 12901 Moss Park Rd, Orlando, FL 32832

When? Friday afternoon/evening, November 9 through Sunday afternoon, November 11. You can come and enjoy any part of the weekend that your schedule permits. Friday setup begins after 2 PM.

Who? Families of all ages. You do not have to be a member of Trinity Wellsprings Church.

What to do? Activities will be facilitated informally. Kids and parents can choose from a myriad of activities including canoeing, kayaking, fishing, day and evening nature walks, alligator “cat eye” night watching, and wildlife watching. Bring a fishing pole, a kayak, a ball and glove, and a sense of adventure.

What to bring? At a minimum, bring a tent, a sleeping bag and appropriate clothes. If you need to borrow equipment, let us know. People with extra equipment such as extra sleeping bags or tents are asked to let us know. Coolers for your personal items and folding chairs are a good idea.

What not to bring? Due to the family nature of this event weapons and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Also, although the campground has restrooms and showers, this is primitive camping. There is NOT electricity at the camp site. PETS are NOT permitted at Moss Park.

Transportation? Make your own way or carpool with another family. Directions will be provided via email. Its about a 60 minute drive from Trinity Wellsprings.

Meals? Group meals and drinks will be provided Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Five “full” group meals provided will be a Friday light dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner and Sunday breakfast. Lemonade and water will be provided. Each family should bring their own snacks and any specialty drinks desired.
